| Barb "Little Warrior" Honchack |
Addison Sports Management and Media continues to create a solid position in it's representation of elite woman's mixed martial artists in it's announcement of the signing under it's banner of top wold ranked female Flyweight, Barb "Little Warrior" Honchak.
"We are very excited to sign Barb. I have watched and admired her for a number of years. Her presence, conduct and the fact that she is a phenomenal athlete led me to seeing her as a valued addition to ASMM. Her name consistently came up in a number of conversations over the last year within the growing community of woman's MMA. Sam Wilson talked very highly of her and alluded to the fact that she may be looking for management and graciously offered to make an inquiry. Ashley Cummins who was also recently signed by us was also very supportive and encouraging with Barb as well. From that point conversation began and we were able to reach an agreement. I had known that she was at that time a force to be reckoned with. Her career has demonstrated that historically in her work ethic and skill set."
Barb Hochack is currently 5-1 with her most recent victory coming by rear naked choke after a hard fought bout with Roxanne Modafferi at Black-eye's Promotion's Breast Cancer Beatdown on October 1, 2011. Her only loss coming at the hands of Cat Zingano by decision in 2010.
Barb has recently relocated to a different camp from longtime coach Steve Berger's MMA out of St Louis, Missouri because of an opportunity that came about in her husbands career. She now trains at Miletich Training Center in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Barb maintains that she is only interested in competing in the very near future with the best in her weight class with a goal of becoming the world champion. She is currently ranked as the number three Flyweight behind Cat Zingano and Sheila Gaff.
Along with current athletes Alexis Davis, Elaina Maxwell, Ashley Cummins, Jessamyn Duke, Valerie Letourneau and two future stars of Woman's MMA, Madison Peavler and Danika Thibault ASMM continues to work with the top females in the sport.
