Edit by Veronica: Wanted to touch on the striking of these two since we talked a lot about their grappling. Vanessa has some powerful strikes and has shown strong kicks in previous fights. She trains with Vlad Matyushenko, so don't think she'll be relying solely on her grappling ability. Sarah spent about a month in Thailand recently, and has now been training at CSA for over a year (the head coach of which is Kirian Fitzgibbons...muay thai!), which can only mean great things for her striking game. With all that in mind I'm looking forward to seeing these two go at it on the feet as well.
