In a recent interview with Maxim.com, 25-year-old Ronda Rousey revealed that the secret to great pre-fight trash talking is to let the opposition initiate the conversation.
"My advice is to usually let the other person speak first," she said of her counter-attacking style. "It's easier to come up with a comeback than something that originally brilliant."Ronda Rousey...
"I did kind of rub it in her face actually," Rousey said of defeating Tate to take her belt. "At the weigh-ins, you're supposed to stand there and whatever....and the girl actually got in my face and of course, I pushed her back as hard as I could. [Tate] was going on that the athletic commission should fine her for head-butting me. I was like...I don't feel bad about it. That's the truth and I'm not going to apologize."
"You don't think about not blinking," Rousey said of the staredown. "I can tell that sometimes it's like...don't blink, don't blink. Blink all you want. Don't giggle. You have to stare at somebody like they're about to date your daughter."
