What has become the most anticipated fight in women’s kickboxing history has turned into one of the best sets of women’s kickboxing fights this year.
As announced last month, the long awaited match between the top female kickboxer in the world, the U.S.’s Miriam Nakamoto and the U.K.’s Julie Kitchen, is set for August 18 at the Pala Casino in San Diego for Kitchen’s WCK title. The WCK announced this weekend they have added three other female fights on the card, including another title fight.
- WBC World Champion Tiana Caverly of Australia will defend her title against Jemyma Betrian of The Netherlands
- Southern California’s own Tiffany Van Soest will take on Scotland’s Hilary Mack
- MMA veteran Lena Ovchynnikova of the Ukraine will take on USA’s Emily Bearden.
