Damon Martin: Takeya Mizugaki Faces Jeff Hougland at UFC 151

A pair of bantamweights have been matched up and added to UFC 151 in September as Takeya Mizugaki faces off with Jeff Hougland.
Sources close to the match-up confirmed the fight with MMAWeekly.com on Sunday.
Since debuting in the UFC in 2011, Japanese based bantamweight Takeya Mizugaki has continuously alternated between wins and losses, and currently sports a 2-2 record inside the Octagon.
Most would tell you however that he should be 3-1 after a highly controversial loss to Chris Cariaso in his last bout. Cariaso was given a unanimous decision win although the majority of people outside of the judges that night, including UFC President Dana White, thought Mizugaki should have gotten the nod.
Either way, Mizugaki will now try to erase the bad memories of that night as he faces a new opponent in September.
Following a successful debut in the UFC, Jeff Hougland was trying to make it two for two when he ran into tough striker Yves Jabouin at UFC on Fuel TV 3 in May.
Hougland was able to survive all three rounds with Jabouin, but unfortunately for him that’s about all he was able to do.
Now he’ll try to get back on track as he faces a UFC and WEC veteran this September at UFC 151. The card will be headlined by UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones as he defends his belt against former Strikeforce and Pride champion Dan Henderson.
