6-2 Scotland’s “Queen of MMA”, Joanne Calderwood (3-0) continued to impress as she stopped Aïnara Mota (0-1) of France via TKO in the second round at On Top MMA 5.
6-2 In her pro debut, Peggy “The Daywalker” Morgan (1-0) picked up a Majority Decision over Kaline Medeiros (1-3) at Reality Fighting.
6-2 In a back-n-forth battle that would earn Fight of the Night honors at Cage Warriors 47, Rosi “The Surgeon” Sexton (13-2) outlasted 3rd ranked Aisling “Ais The Bash” Daly (13-3) via Unanimous Decision to advance to the finals of the Cage Warriors 125-pound Women’s Tournament. Sexton will face Sheila Gaff, who defeated Jennifer Maia in March, for the title this Fall.
