Damon Martin: All Charges Dismissed Against Arianny Celeste and Boyfriend in Domestic Violence Case

Following a May arrest in Las Vegas for domestic violence, UFC Octagon girl Arianny Celeste has had all charges dropped by the district attorney’s office.
According to a representative from the Clark County district attorney’s office speaking to MMAWeekly.com on Monday confirmed that due to ‘insufficient evidence’ the charges against Celeste (real name Arianny Lopez) and her companion Praveen Chandra, who was also arrested that same night, have been dropped.
The news was originally reported by MMAJunkie.com.
Celeste and Chandra were arrested the night before UFC 146 apparently due to an argument that was sparked after the long time UFC Octagon girl allegedly found some compromising text messages on her then boyfriend’s phone.
An argument ensued and according to several reports, Celeste was accused of kicking Chandra in the nose, while he was also arrested for allegedly choking the former Playboy model.
Now more than a month later, the district attorney’s office in Clark County has opted not to seek charges on either Celeste or Chandra in the case.
Celeste resumed her Octagon duties immediately after her arrest and release from jail that following day.
