Invicta Fight Week is finally here! Unfortunately, a couple of the fighters had to drop-out due to injuries this week, however Janet Martin pulled a few rabbits out of the hat and managed to get some solid replacements. Lacey Schuckman will now replace Jasminka Cive in a Strawweight matchup with Ayaka Hamasaki and Raquel Pa’aluhi steps in to replace Leslie Smith in a Bantamweight contest against Amanda Nunes. Once again, Invicta will stream the event LIVE and FREE starting at 7pm eastern on the Invicta website.

7-21 In the main event at Jewels: “20th Ring”, Mei Yamaguchi put herself in contention for a title shot with a key victory over Emi Tomimatsu. With this win, Yamaguchi now hopes to challenge Ayaka Hamasaki for the Jewels Lightweight Queen Championship (115-pounds) later this year.

7-28 After three knockout wins as an amateur and one in her pro debut, Katalina Malungahu (1-0) now aims for her fifth knockout in a row against undefeated amateur Ericka Newsome (0-0, 5-0am) at Chaos in the Cage 11.
7-28 Invicta FC 2 invades Kansas City with 14 HUGE bouts. The main event features 2004 Olympic silver medallist and undefeated mixed martial artist Sara McMann taking on submission specialist Shayna Baszler. Also on the card, Strikeforce veterans Alexis Davis battles Hitomi Akano. This event will stream LIVE and FREE starting at 7pm eastern on the Invicta website.

  1. UFC fighters use an array of skills ranging from boxing, karate, and wrestling to combat each other in a steel cage. There is nothing fake about the UFC unlike professional wrestling, and it's more brutal than boxing. There are some similarities between UFC and boxing such as the weight classes that categorizes each fighter, and the fact that each weight class has a champion.
