Aug 3, 2012 - According to a Tweet from ONE FC, former UFC heavyweight champions Tim Sylvia and Andrei Arlovski will fight at ONE FC: Pride of a Nation on Aug. 31 in Manila, Philippines. This bout marks the fourth meeting between the two fighters.
Arlovski was originally scheduled to face Soa Palelei at the late August show, but according to Palelei on his Twitter account, the fight fell through when he declined to sign a five-fight contract with the East Asian promotion.
Sylvia, 36, had recently campaigned for a return to the UFC and was tapped to face Daniel Cormier in the Strikeforce grand prix's final Strikeforce bout, but that plan was ultimately nixed by Zuffa executives. Sylvia is 7-3 in his MMA career since leaving the UFC.

Arlovski, 33, is riding a two-fight win streak since being bounced from Strikeforce. He is 4-4 since leaving the UFC.
The two former champions faced each other three times previously under the UFC banner: UFC 51, UFC 59 and UFC 61. Sylvia lost the first bout by submission and won the subsequent two meetings, first by TKO and ultimately by decision in their most-recent fight.
