Juan Valle: Jessamyn Duke is victorious at RFA 2

Kentucky’s very own Jessamyn Duke was victorious in her fight this evening over Elizabeth Phillips at RFA Fighting 2. Jessamyn who made her debut in the Women’s Bantamweight (135lb) division pulled off a guillotine choke in the 2nd round to score the submission victory. According to Jessamyn this was her last fight as an amateur before turning pro; With this victory she improves her amateur record to 5-2.
The fights which took place at the Viaero Event Center in Kearney, Nebraska were being streamed live and for free on Sherdog.com featured nineteen fights including three female fights.
