(We are breaking down the upcoming InvictaFC card every day for the next 5 days. Invicta will be live in Kansas City. MO on Apr. 28 and will stream online at InvictaFC.com.)

Two experienced strikers will battle it out when #10 Unified ranked bantamweight Kaitlin Young faces Leslie Smith.
Young (6-5) has changed her luck after a five fight win streak ended last year with a win over Lizbeth Carreiro. She recently defeated Anne Barone via TKO, leaving Barone a blood mess. Young also has victories over former Stikeforce champion Miesha Tate.

Smith (3-2) is looking to come back after a decision loss to Ediane Gomes last year. Having trained extensively in kickboxing in Thailand, this Bay Area native is the star of the upcoming documentary ”Fight for It”. A win over Young would help propel her into the bantamweight rankings.
