ASMM Signs Bethany Marshall

Addison Sports Management and Media in keeping with an ever growing roster of woman MMA athletes has signed Bethany Marshall from Newport News, VA. She currently trains and has trained all of her MMA career at Modern American Mixed Martial Arts under the instruction of Nick White.

Marshall is known primarily as a grappler with formidable stand up and was ranked as high as number 4 at 138 in the world by the World Wrestling and Grappling Rankings in 2008. She was slated to fight Valerie Letourneau in 2011 but had to pull out because of professional and personal commitments. She has since then committed her self to resuming an MMA a career where she left off. Marshall is currently 4-0 with her last victory in M-1Challenge 24 with a victory over Stacy Grant by submission in the second round.

"Bethany and ASMM have some history in representation in 2011. We believe Bethany poses a very keen contribution to the growing sport in FMMA and we were happy to bring her back with us. We feel that she is ready and committed. Here occupation at that time was one that was of progress as far as her developing her career as well as some personal commitments that had to be the priority. She has shared with us that she never stopped training and has of late dialed it in and brought it up a considerable notch with the guidance of her coach, Nick White. We feel that Bethany is a great representative of woman in MMA and beyond her ability as an athlete is currently working on a book about Woman in MMA. She is always solid, well spoken and an amazing athlete and we're glad see to see her back."
