“Women’s MMA Today” gets you caught up on the week that was and the week that will be in women’s MMA.
—Weekend Results—
8-3 Felice “Lil Bulldog” Herrig (7-4) picked up her second straight win inside the XFC cage by defeating fellow striker Simona Soukupova (2-2) via Unanimous Decision at XFC 19: “Charlotte Showdown”. The scores were 30-27, 30-27, and 29-28.
8-4 UK’s Lisa “Lights Out” McCallam (2-0) kept her perfect record in tact by defeating Maria Messer (0-2) via Unanimous Decision at Flawless FC 1: “The Beginning”. All three judges scored the bout 30-27.

8-10 Disorderly Conduct: “The Yin & The Yang” takes place at the Ramada Coco Keys Convention Center in Omaha, NE and features 6 female bouts. After an impressive amateur career, Lauren Barefoot (0-0) makes her pro debut against Ashleigh Curry (1-1) and Chandra Engel (0-0) clashes with Marciea Allen (0-0) in what will be both their pro debuts.
